ANIKA were formed in 1997, in East London by A.G and H.S.
After the release of their second collective work (demo tape) in 1998, A.G took the helm of the project.
From 1997 to 2004, and prior to the official releases A:0304 (2005) and A:0507 (2008), ANIKA recorded eight to nine demo tapes—limited copies distributed on cassette, MD, and CD formats -.
Primarily created using four-track analogue recorders in London, Newcastle, and Athens.
